The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
